Ben Kweller

Noone thought that Ben Kweller had enough fans in Orlando to sell out The Social, but sell it out he did. It was a good thing Jen Cray got there early to catch the action.

Lollapalooza

Chris Catania, in between three days of running back and forth the length of Chicago's Grant Park to check out the likes of Pearl Jam, Regina Spektor and Rhymefest, wonders if maybe Lollapalooza is getting a little too big.

Motion City Soundtrack

Motion City Soundtrack returned to Philadelphia to play a sold-out show. Brittany Sturges was there to bust a move with all the fans.

Pitchfork Music Festival

For the third straight year indie-rock tastemaker Pitchfork Media summoned the masses, including Chris Catania, and delivered a balanced mix of promising upstarts and legends for the Pitchfork Music Festival.

Portugal The Man

The blues-soaked, funk-sprinkled, new progressive sounds of Alaska's Portugal The Man made an evening of mediocre bands worth it for Jen Cray.

The Postmarks

The final date of The Postmarks' brief and enchanting summer tour as seen by Margarita Gonzalez.

Riverboat Gamblers

The first ever Volcom Tour brought co-headliners Riverboat Gamblers and Valient Thorr to Orlando, along with label mates Totimoshi and ASG. This was exactly the kind of show Jen Cray had been waiting for.

Silverchair

Silverchair is back and with a vengeance. Brittany Sturges was there to savor every moment of their performance.

Theo and The Skyscrapers

Feeling dwarfed by ex-Lunachick Theo Kogan and her two towering bandmates, Chris Catania reports that Gothic dance rock is alive and well, and smashing your face in.

Warped Tour

It's 300 degrees in the shade, the Orlando streets are teeming with teenagers, and Jen Cray was about to throw down $6 for a Bud Light. This can only mean one thing: it's time for another Warped Tour.
