Goodbye New World
Angry and driving punk rock that falls in with bands like the Dillinger Four or Leatherface, but perhaps a bit colder. Like Chicago. Solid and unrelenting songs that drive fast or faster, nothing slows them down. Bass like a brick wall and drums the cement holding the bricks together. The guitar screams, and the vocals rasp with aggravated delight, holding the hearts of the songs between clenched teeth. Sometimes reminding me a little of perhaps the Stranglers on speed, a British punk thing coming through the dynamics, other times it's just real good American punk, screaming about a "Surf Riot," or living in "Constellation City." These songs could make you bleed, and a live show could keep your head ringing for years.
