Sometimes records slip through the cracks and end up not getting reviewed when they really should. This was a little old when I received it and even older when I found it again. Regardless of when this came out or resurfaced, it's still a great record.

September play decidedly left-of-center emotive stuff that reminds me of Moonraker -- a little in style, but mostly in that it's personal, sincere, and original. Patient, melodic strums, spoken/sung/screamed vocals, and a heart wrenching mood characterize. The music surges when necessary, but for the most part stays rather subdued and unabrasive. Not the most amazing record ever, but there's still a warm place in my heart for this. $6 postpaid from Tree, P.O. Box 31840, Philadelphia, PA 19104
