Sam The Butcher

Far Out

The Sam the Butcher seven inch blew me away with its catchy-as-fuck ska-punk. They reminded me a lot of Bingomut matured. They still do on some songs. It's a good thing. On others they stray from the (most likely unintentional) Bingomut-ish similarities and I'm able to hear more clearly the Sam the Butcher style. It rocks on its own merit. Raging ska-punk, hell yeah. I'd love to see these guys live. For now, though, this has enough energy and catchiness to keep me happy. Far Out Records, P.O. Box 14361, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33302
