Do They Know It's Halloween?
from the Vampire Aid dept.
Vice Records has this to say about their newest and spookiest release yet: "BOO! This fall’s sweetest – and scariest – benefit song is DO THEY KNOW IT’S HALLOWE’EN. This single features a star-studded ensemble known as the NORTH AMERICAN HALLOWEEN PREVENTION INITIATIVE. Both a trick and a treat, this song is a satire - as well as a charity-benefit song with all proceeds being donated to UNICEF." It's done "Band Aid" style, with round-robin vocal and instrumental duties split between a stellar cast of scuzzy indie greats. Worth it just for the David Cross cameo. Tobias Funke would be proud.
