Marilyn Manson will have to sit out the Six Flags Darien Lake stop on the 2003 Ozzfest tour, as amusement park management says the shock rocker's act is not appropriate for the venue. As a result, Manson will be riding the teacups and screaming like a little girl while tourmates Cradle of Filth and Ozzy Osbourne provide park-goers with decent, wholesome family entertainment.

Despite being Germany's 4th largest-selling band, Boehese Onkelz ( translated as Evil Uncles ) may be dropped as the opener for Stones tours in Germany. The punk band had some far-right leanings in the 1980s but have since made public statements against Nazism and racism.

Legendary rockers Led Zeppelin are set to re-group after 22 years for a money-spinning stadium tour of America. The three surviving members — singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones — plan to hit the road next summer. Jason Bonham, son of deceased drummer John Bonham, is slated to join.

Surviving members of the Doors -- Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, and possibly John Densmore if he makes it through unspecified medical conditions -- have scheduled a Los Angeles show in September, with the chance of more dates in 2003. The ever-popular Warped Tour kicks off today with the first show being held in Idaho Center Amphiteatre, Nampa, ID, and will not stop for breath until its last date somewhere around the middle of August.
